Hi everyone,
The first thing I want to tell you about this box is the e-mail I got on June 26th, they mailed us about the box being so late this month since they always try to get it out at the beginning of the month, they now just want it out in the month the box belongs to, but will not give a specific date because they’ve noticed they’re struggling with this commitment. They’re already not holding to this commitment because the June box will be shipped in July. Another thing that I found strange is that their is a Summer-stop, which means that there will be a box in June, but not one in July. Now I understand that they need a holiday, but all the other boxes are shipping in the summer and last year they also did a November and December combination so I’m disappointed about that. They will not ask for a payment for July (duhhhh), but they do mention that, I think that since they do payment’s per box, that was the logical thing to do. Another thing is that the card stated it was the June box and it arrived on July 23rd.
Next there was a mention in another email and on Twitter – which sent me to Facebook and I don’t have a Facebook – that the voucher for 10% off EyeWear.nl in this box stated it was valid until July 20 (and since no one got the box by that date, it was actually valid until July 31st, but don’t they know many people will be on their holiday and will not open this box until after that date? I thought it was a very short lasting voucher.
Then ANOTHER thing happened which I didn’t get an email about, but did see on Twitter (and that sent me to Facebook AGAIN Argh!!) that one of the products it the box was past it’s sell by date so if you got that in the box, you should email them. Just my luck, I got that damn product past the sell by date soooo I emailed them already. I got an almost instant reply that they’re figuring out a solution and that I’ll get an email with that as soon as they have one. So it’s now time to wait. It’s Friday now and still no solution in my email.
In all honesty this inconsistency thing with the shipping and the boxes is annoying as hell, their boxes are almost always filled with amazing products, that’s why I’m putting up with this, but if I wasn’t a product junkie who needed her fix, I would cancel my subscription. Things can go wrong and I don’t usually keep score of what’s been going wrong, but it’s gone on sooo much with this box that well, I’m going to give them 3 months to amaze me again or I will cancel the subscribtion. I mean a Revitalash can only do so much for so long….

Application and Warnings (on the tube):
Apply before sun exposure. Avoid mid-day sun. Re-apply frequently to maintain protection, especially after perspiring or swimming. Keep babies and children out of direct sunlight and use protective clothing. Apply generously. Low application amounts reduce protection. No sunscreen product gives 100% protection against UV rays. Over-exposure to the sun is a serious health threat. Children under 6 months of age ask a doctor. Stop use if signs of irritation or rash appear. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep this and all drugs away from children. This product does contain a perfume so do be careful if you have a very sensitive skin. No-Ad contains Aloe Vera extracts, Vitamin E and cocao-butter. This is said to be hypo-allergenic, waterproof and sweatresisitant.
It smells really nice which ended up being a bad thing, since I started eating very healthy I don’t get a lot of mosquitoe bites anymore, but I’ve been eaten alive yesterday. I was wearing it when I went for my run and later when I went to sit in the shade a little bit and I was mobbed by the damn things. But I didn’t get a sunburn or anything so that means that it did do that part of it’s job.

Application:
Every morning and evening, after using the peeling gel and the Serum Slim Extreme 3D Eveline Cosmetics, massage the cream into areas affected by cellulite and escessive fatty tissue (thighs, abdomen, buttocks, arms).
Now I actually have to probably send this back because it’s past it’s “use by date”. So I can’t tell you anything about this product after use, because I can’t use it.
- Beauty Friends – Sheet masks (Snail Essence Mask) (one mask = €1,25)

Features:

Now I know this may be very unbrave of me, but snail secretion and mucus of snails…. those are words that don’t really make me want to try out this mask. I know it’s stupid, but the only thing in my mind is: HELL NO.
- Miners – Maxi waterproof mascara (black) (8 ml fullsize = €7,95)
This waterproof mascara is for a natural look with waterproof and smudgeproof properties.
I have to idea about this mascara yet, I will try it out as soon as one of my other mascara’s is past it’s using date. I always hate opening many mascara’s at the same time because you can only use them for 3 months after opening. So this will be saved for a little while. But if it’s for a natural look, I’m wondering about the Maxi in the name.
- L’Oréal Paris – Sublime Bronze selftanning towelettes (2 x 5,6 ml fullsize = €3,99)
These towelettes are very handy and don’t give a stripey tan. You can use one wipe on your face, decolletage and arms and one wipe for your legs. When applying these towelettes on your skin, apply it in several directions to ensure an even application. Even after the wipe feels dry, it still has selftanner. Be carefull around the brows and the hairline. The colour will apear after one hour. They are impregnated with Sublime Bronze Milk. Once you have the tan you wanted, use these 2 to 3 times a week to keep the colour looking fresh. Let it dry thoroughly before getting dressed and wash your hands after application.
I’ve used L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze spray before and I loved it, so I expected it to be really nice. But I’m always nervous when it comes to towelettes. I tried it after my morning run and shower and took a before picture and because it said the colour would develop in one hour I took an after picture a little over an hour later. The entire day I didn’t notice anything changing in the colour…
The next morning however I woke up to this:
Seriously, how stripey and uneven could a colour get? I’m happy it’s a rainy day today because I will not go out with a tan like this! I’ve NEVER EVER had this bad of a tan. I was getting annoyed when applying with the towelettes because it kept rolling up and it made application extremely hard so I thought just keep buffing and going in different directions and everything, but there it almost no tan on my thighs and streaky tan on my calves, so I HATE these!! I’m going to scrub in the shower again tonight using the Greenland Apple scrub that I got in my Truly Yours July box and I’ll apply my Dove gradual tan body lotion on the untanned places and hopefully in a couple of days it will be less noticable. ARGH
So all in all this was the box that was horrible. The No-Ad made mosquito’s chase me, the Eveline cream is past it’s use date, the SNAIL mask…. yeah no I’m not using that, the mascara is probably fine and then these tanning towelettes that make me look like a streaky tanned mess….
